<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in">We have an immediate need for a fulltime Nocturnist to be part of our growing team! The individual(s) will provide supervision, consultation, and teaching to residents inthe department of medicine and family practice. The incumbent will also providemedical consultation as necessary for surgery and Ob/Gyn residents provideemergency inpatient coverage of medical patients on the non-teaching medicaland family practice service.</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"> <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in">The Nocturnist will be workingwith two other Nocturnists at night averaging five admissions per night by eachphysician with a schedule of 7/7 on/off. The Hospitalist group providesin-patient care 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Practice limited exclusivelyto the inpatient primary care service (general floors and critical care areas).<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><b>Required:<o:p></o:p></b></p><ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;">MDLicense required.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;">Boardeligible or board certified required; Internal Medicine highly preferred.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;">PriorFamily Practice sufficient in-patient experience to effectively carry outessential responsibilities required.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;">Mustpossess excellent communication, critical care, and computer skills.</li></ul> |
